# Card Borders

Card Borders denote the quality of the card and its rarity. Each card type has its own border draw rate.

This means that Champions will always have Metal and better borders while Artifacts will have Gold borders at the very minimum.

The rarer the card, the more ornate the border’s design will be. Cards with Light borders are special as aside from the ornate border design, Light-bordered cards are animated as opposed to the static artwork of other cards.

Cards with Metal borders and rarer can be converted into in-game currency, and thus they will produce more currency than the common ones.
